Mission & Vision
"Those who support the emerging intellectual elite also support others, indirectly but effectively!" – Dr. Ingrid Countess zu Solms-Wildenfels. The foundation promotes women with elite potential in science, culture, and society and creates a platform for excellent projects that contribute to diversity and sustainability.
Target groups
The funding programs of the Ingrid zu Solms Foundation are aimed at outstanding women and young female scientists in the German-speaking or European region. This includes doctoral graduates and early-career female researchers (up to 40 years old, with deadline extensions in case of maternity), students at Schloss Hansenberg, as well as organizations whose projects align with the foundation's objectives. The goal is to provide sustainable support and recognition to women in rare professions and specialized fields.
