About the funder
The Kira Auguste Princess of Prussia Music and Culture Foundation is a private foundation established in 2004 and based in Potsdam. It was founded at the request of and in memory of Kira Auguste Princess of Prussia (1943–2004) and is represented by the board member Kira Marina von Bismarck. The foundation is dedicated to the targeted support of young, exceptionally talented musicians in the field of classical music. It supports education and training, awards scholarships, and provides performance opportunities both domestically and internationally.

Mission & Vision
The foundation aims to support highly gifted young musicians through financial assistance, individualized mentoring, and networking opportunities. It promotes excellence in classical music, strengthens the training of young talents, and creates platforms for public performances and artistic development.
Target groups
The funding programs are aimed at young, exceptionally talented pianists as well as other classical musicians. Support is provided to students and graduates of relevant music conservatories or specialized schools for the highly gifted, who can demonstrably show international competition successes and wish to expand their concert activities.
