About the funder
The State Office for Social Affairs, Youth, and Care Rhineland-Palatinate (LSJV) is a subordinate authority of the Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, Transformation, and Digitalization of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate. As a central administrative body, the LSJV bears the professional responsibility for implementing state legal regulations in the areas of social affairs (e.g., social compensation law, integration assistance), youth (e.g., State Youth Welfare Office, youth promotion), healthcare (e.g., infection control, licensing and examination matters of healthcare professions), as well as inclusion and participation. Furthermore, it supervises, among others, public health offices, daycare centers, and educational providers, and supports municipalities and independent organizations in their task of ensuring comprehensive social and health services.
