About the funder
The Landschaftsverband Rheinland (LVR) is a public-law corporation and a municipal association that organizes around 20,000 employees for approximately 9.7 million people in the Rhineland. It fulfills diverse tasks in the region in the fields of disability and youth services, psychiatry, culture, and education. As the largest service provider for people with disabilities in Germany, the LVR operates 41 schools, ten clinics, a network of curative educational services, as well as 20 museums and cultural institutions. Additionally, it promotes the care and preservation of the Rhineland cultural landscape and supports numerous cultural, social, and inclusion-related projects.

Target groups
The funding and service offerings of the Landschaftsverband Rheinland (LVR) are directed at member municipalities in the Rhineland, social and cultural institutions, employers and employees with disabilities, youth welfare organizations, as well as individuals and groups aiming to implement projects in the fields of culture, nature conservation, inclusion, and youth welfare. At the same time, all citizens of the Rhineland benefit from the social, educational, and health-related services of the LVR.
