About the funder

The Lebenshilfe Zollernalb Foundation was established in 1967 as an association and today operates through its subsidiaries ZAW gGmbH, AIZ gGmbH, and LHZA gGmbH, including workshops, residential services, and inclusion enterprises at eight locations in the Zollernalb district, offering a wide range of production, service, and care options. With around 700 employed people with disabilities, the foundation successfully collaborates with large corporations, medium-sized businesses, public administrations, and end consumers. Its core mission is to create jobs and support opportunities for people with intellectual or psychological impairments, as well as to provide housing, leisure, and support services.

Mission & Vision

The Lebenshilfe Zollernalb Foundation is committed to the equal participation of people with disabilities in social life. Our goal is to develop individual abilities, create professional opportunities, and promote social inclusion through needs-based housing, employment, and support services. We believe in the strengths of each individual and offer innovative, sustainable solutions for people with intellectual or psychological impairments and their families.

Target groups

Our services are primarily aimed at people with intellectual and/or psychological disabilities in the Zollernalb district. This includes workshop employees, users of support and care areas, residents in inpatient and outpatient living arrangements, as well as families who utilize supportive services. At the same time, we offer companies from all sectors, including production and services, opportunities to provide people with disabilities with professional prospects.
