About the funder
The Leinemann Foundation for Education and Art is a non-profit foundation under private law, founded in Hamburg in 2008 and initiated by Prof. Dr. Ralf Leinemann. It supports projects nationwide and in neighboring countries in the fields of visual arts and education. The foundation's assets include, in addition to a substantial capital endowment, a collection of contemporary artworks by artists such as Tony Cragg, Thomas Scheibitz, and Markus Huemer. The foundation supports exhibition and catalog projects, art awards for emerging artists, as well as educational initiatives in school and university contexts, particularly in civil engineering and procurement law.

Mission & Vision
The Leinemann Foundation is committed to promoting art and culture as well as education and upbringing. Its goal is to support emerging artists and provide them with initial practical competition experience, to preserve the cultural heritage in the fields of monument preservation and historic libraries, and to advance academic training in civil engineering as well as construction and procurement law, in order to strengthen young talent in technical degree programs.
Target groups
The funding programs of the Leinemann Foundation are aimed at students and graduates of artistic and technical degree programs, particularly in civil engineering and procurement law, emerging artists at the beginning of their careers without a breakthrough in the art market, as well as public and private institutions, museums, and universities that carry out exhibitions, catalogs, or research projects in the field of visual arts and architecture.
