Mission & Vision
Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg sees itself as the first point of contact for filmmakers, games, and XR developers in the Berlin-Brandenburg metropolitan region. Our goal is to strengthen the creative and economic development of the film and media industry through tailored funding programs, location marketing, and networking opportunities. We rely on transparency, sustainability, and the highest quality standards to ensure a long-term, internationally visible media hub characterized by outstanding diversity and innovation.
Target groups
The funding programs of Medienboard are aimed at producers, developers, and distributors from the film, series, games, and immersive sectors who are based in the Berlin-Brandenburg region or implement projects with a regional connection. Both established companies and emerging talents, university graduates, and creative start-ups are addressed. Additionally, the Film Commission targets national and international film productions requiring filming permits and services in the Capital Region.
