Michaelis-Stiftung Fallersleben

The Evangelical Lutheran Michaelis Foundation Fallersleben is a non-legal foundation under public law of the Evangelical Lutheran Michaelis Church Congregation Fallersleben/Sandkamp. It exclusively pursues ecclesiastical, charitable, and non-profit purposes and secures the financial basis for church and community work in the long term through the establishment of an endowment fund. The initial capital of €15,000 was provided from congregational funds; additional funds come from donations to the foundation, which are incorporated into the endowment and serve the long-term asset growth. The generated income may be used within the framework of the statutes for diaconal tasks, church music and cultural work, personnel, as well as the maintenance and upkeep of buildings.

The Michaelis Foundation Fallersleben aims to finance the Evangelical Lutheran parish independently of direct allocations from the regional church in the long term and to build up a permanent capital through endowments. This is intended to sustainably support parish projects and social tasks, secure church musical and cultural offerings, and ensure the maintenance of buildings.
