About the funder

The Münchner-Kindl Foundation for Munich Children was established in 2002 and builds upon the successful work of the Munich Association for Playgrounds and Green Spaces e.V., which has been active since 1961. It provides financial and material support for the creation and maintenance of playgrounds, sports fields, day nurseries, after-school care centers, as well as other projects for child and youth welfare in the greater Munich area. With an initial capital of €200,000, it ensures sustainable support for a variety of play, care, and educational services for children and young people through the income generated from its endowment and ongoing donations.
