About the funder
The OEKOGENO Foundation is a non-profit funding foundation that has been committed since 2015 to the protection of the environment and nature, as well as to social justice and a solidarity-based economic system. Its scope of work ranges from the rewetting of moors (moor protection) and the promotion of renewable energies to the strengthening of ecological agriculture, horticulture, and forestry, as well as the creation of speculation-free and inclusive housing projects for people with and without disabilities. The foundation finances energy-efficient processes, supports small-scale farming structures, and initiates innovative projects in close partnership with OEKOGENO eG, such as inclusive multigenerational living in Waldshut-Tiengen, Furtwangen, and Nürtingen.

Mission & Vision
The OEKOGENO Foundation pursues the mission of securing a sustainable and livable environment for future generations. It promotes sustainable economic practices in the interest of the common good, the prudent use of natural resources, and advocates for social inclusion. Through transparent partnerships and sound financial management, the foundation aims to strengthen impact competence and social participation.
Target groups
The funding programs of the OEKOGENO Foundation are aimed at environmental and nature conservation initiatives, ecological farmers, and non-profit construction projects that implement renewable energies or develop barrier-free living arrangements. A special focus is placed on inclusive projects that enable people with disabilities to live a self-determined life within society. Both individual projects and collaborations with municipalities, cooperatives, and non-profit organizations are eligible for funding.
