Mission & Vision
The foundation aims to preserve the architectural testimonies of the Catholic faith in the funding area in the long term. It provides funds to maintain churches and parish houses as places of pastoral care, culture, and community. In doing so, it ensures sustainable asset management and adheres to the founder's intentions as well as ecclesiastical and state regulations.
Target groups
Eligible for funding are local Catholic legal entities in the formerly Electoral Palatinate part of Baden – from the Tauber Valley to Karlsruhe. This includes parish communities, pastoral units, and church institutions that plan construction measures on churches, chapels, and parish houses. Both historically burdened buildings with construction obligations and voluntarily funded projects can receive grants of up to 50% of the recognized costs, provided they meet the statutory requirements.
