About the funder

The Rave Foundation is a non-profit and charitable foundation under civil law based in Rhede, founded in 2008 by Christian and Hildegard Rave. Following the death of Christian Rave, the board currently consists of Stephan Rave (Chairman), Hildegard Rave (Deputy Chairwoman), Tanja Rave, and Ingeborg Rave. The foundation supports non-profit organizations and initiatives in the region through donations, particularly projects in the fields of education, upbringing, child and youth welfare, elderly care, arts, culture, monument preservation, environmental and nature conservation, local heritage, sports, as well as public health care.

Mission & Vision

The Rave Foundation is committed to promoting the common good in Rhede and the surrounding area by strengthening charitable and benevolent projects in the fields of education, child and youth welfare, health, culture, as well as environmental and monument protection on a long-term basis. Our goal is to sustainably improve the quality of life in our homeland.

Target groups

Non-profit organizations and initiatives in the Rhede region and surrounding areas are supported. Particular emphasis is placed on projects and organizations in the fields of education, upbringing, youth, child and elderly welfare, arts, culture and monument preservation, environmental and nature conservation, local heritage, sports, and public health care.
