Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung Schleswig-Holstein – werkstatt utopie und gedächtnis e.V.

The Rosa Luxemburg Foundation Schleswig-Holstein – werkstatt utopie und gedächtnis e.V. has been active as a regional office of the nationwide Rosa Luxemburg Foundation in Kiel since 2008 and has maintained its own office in Kiel-Gaarden ("Linkes Eck") since 2026. It sees itself as a critical authority towards capitalist modes of production and promotes political education, consciousness-raising, and the capacity for utopia. Organizationally and substantively, it works closely with social movements, trade unions, parties, and civil society groups.

The Rosa Luxemburg Foundation Schleswig-Holstein promotes democratic-socialist education and networking in Schleswig-Holstein. Its offerings are guided by Rosa Luxemburg's connection of political freedom and social justice and create learning spaces for consciousness-raising, political empowerment, as well as anti-racist and democratic action.

The offerings are aimed at actors and interested parties from social movements, civil society organizations, trade unions, parties, and initiatives in Schleswig-Holstein. Funding is provided to individuals and groups engaged with emancipatory, ecological, and social issues who wish to expand their political agency and network. Political education actors and emerging students who want to participate in theme-centered discussions and projects are also welcome.
