About the funder
The Social Foundation of Hessian Football is a legal foundation under civil law based in Frankfurt am Main. It was established by the Hessian Football Association (HFV) and is financed through proceeds from the 2006 World Cup, fines within the HFV, as well as additional grants. As the sponsor of the Fair Play Hessen initiative, it has been promoting violence prevention, integration, tolerance, and education in Hessian football since 2002. The foundation supports financial projects, workshops, tournaments, training sessions, and networking activities to sustainably anchor fair play and social responsibility in sports.

Mission & Vision
The Social Foundation of Hessian Football is committed to promoting respectful, non-violent, and inclusive football in Hesse. Our goal is to support youth football as well as social responsibility in sports and to anchor fair play, tolerance, and solidarity in club life through training and further education, cultural exchanges, and participatory projects.
Target groups
The funding opportunities are aimed at all stakeholders in Hessian football: football clubs, youth teams, coaches, supervisors, referees, volunteers, as well as parents and institutions committed to promoting fair play, violence prevention, integration, and democracy in sport.
