Mission & Vision
MA 10 promotes needs-based, inclusive, and high-quality early childhood education in Vienna. We are committed to ensuring that all children – regardless of social background or special needs – have early and free access to educational and care services. Through targeted support programs and framework conditions, we strengthen self-, social-, and educational competencies, thereby laying the foundation for a successful further educational path.
Target groups
The funding and care services of MA 10 are aimed at all children in Vienna aged 0 up to school entry, as well as their legal guardians and private kindergarten providers. Special funding guidelines apply to disadvantaged children who participate in innovative projects promoting STEM, language, and social skills, as well as to children with disabilities in officially approved integration groups. MA 10 works closely with private providers, associations, and educational institutions and supports initiatives that strengthen diversity and inclusion in early childhood education.
