About the funder

The ANTENNE BAYERN hilft Foundation is a public foundation under civil law based in Ismaning. Originally founded in 1989 as a non-profit association under the name "ANTENNE BAYERN hilft," it was converted into its current legal form on December 17, 2002. Under the legal supervision of the Government of Upper Bavaria and the tax audit by the tax office, the foundation supports people in Bavaria who have fallen into hardship due to illness, disability, or other unavoidable misfortunes. It provides exclusively financial immediate assistance in the form of grants and particularly promotes individual case aid to support those affected and their families in difficult life situations in an uncomplicated manner.

Mission & Vision

The ANTENNE BAYERN helps Foundation aims to provide uncomplicated and effective support to people in Bavaria who have fallen into financial hardship due to physical, mental, or emotional impairments. It promotes individual assistance and projects that enable those affected and their relatives to lead a self-determined life and participate in social life. The dignity of the individuals and prompt local assistance are at the core of its actions.

Target groups

Funding is provided to natural persons with primary residence in Bavaria who have fallen into financial hardship due to illness, disability, or unforeseen misfortunes (e.g., death, domestic violence, accident). The foundation targets individuals and families who, without their own financial resources, are unable to finance necessary aids, home modifications, or medical and social support. Applications are only possible if all funding guidelines and legal requirements (e.g., § 53 AO) are met.
