Mission & Vision

The CITOYEN Foundation aims to encourage individuals to take personal responsibility in participating in the community and to contribute their ideas for the common good. It believes in the power of civic engagement and is committed to promoting innovation and self-help. Through its own model initiatives and the support of external projects, it seeks to create structures in which citizens jointly assume responsibility and actively shape the community.

Target groups

Non-profit projects in the Rhine-Main area are funded, provided they are carried out by associations, initiatives, or institutions themselves or are supported by them as sponsors. Applicants must be recognized as non-profit; project-related proposals without their own non-profit status can be submitted in cooperation with a recognized sponsor. The foundation supports both the initiation of new projects and existing activities in areas such as education, culture, science, environmental and nature conservation, as well as civic engagement.
