About the funder
The Stiftung der Bremerhavener Wirtschaft was established on June 23, 2000, by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Bremerhaven on the occasion of its 125th anniversary. It was founded in cooperation with 22 Bremerhaven-based companies. The foundation aims to promote the economic and social development of the city of Bremerhaven. This is achieved through the support of projects in the fields of education, upbringing, art, culture, and sports. The foundation is a legally capable foundation under civil law and pursues exclusively charitable purposes. It is financed from the income of the foundation's capital and donations.

Mission & Vision
The Stiftung der Bremerhavener Wirtschaft is committed to the sustainable revitalization and strengthening of economic and social life in Bremerhaven. Through its work, the foundation also aims to inspire other initiatives and serve as a model for similar projects.
