About the funder
The Stiftung Deutscher Pferdesport is an independent, grant-making foundation under private law based in Warendorf. Since its establishment in 2013 (originally as the "Stiftung Deutscher Spitzenpferdesport"), it has supported talents in German equestrian sports through its network of sponsors and donors. The foundation focuses specifically on promoting young talent and supports young athletes in the disciplines of dressage, show jumping, eventing, vaulting, and para-dressage with sponsorships, scholarships, and training programs. Performance, talent development, and animal welfare are at the core of its mission.

Mission & Vision
The Stiftung Deutscher Pferdesport follows the guiding principle "Performance, Talent, and Animal Welfare." Our mission is to ensure quality in German equestrian sports, support emerging talents, and sustainably accompany their path to elite competition. We create connections between athletes, sponsors, and experts to jointly achieve top performances at national and international levels and to promote respectful treatment of the horse.
Target groups
The funding programs of the German Equestrian Sports Foundation are aimed at young riders and vaulters in the junior categories (U18/U21), junior athletes in para-dressage, as well as trainers and instructors in German equestrian sports. We support both individual talents and teams, offering sponsorships, scholarships, and professional development opportunities to accompany the next generation on their path to elite and competitive sports.
