Stiftung für Behinderte (SfB)

The Foundation for Disabled Persons (SfB) was established on March 16, 2006, as a non-profit foundation to ensure lasting support for people with disabilities. According to its statutes, the SfB promotes economically disadvantaged disabled individuals through financial grants, supports their integration into society, school, and vocational training, and offers advice in medical-therapeutic, socio-educational, and social matters. Furthermore, it supports non-profit organizations with similar objectives, particularly the Interest Group for Disabled Persons and Their Friends Speyer e.V. (IBF).

The Foundation for Disabled Persons (SfB) is committed to the equal participation and social integration of people with disabilities. Its goal is to promote inclusion through financial support and comprehensive counseling, enabling those in need and their families to lead self-determined and dignified lives. It works in partnership with politics, business, and social institutions to dismantle barriers and create sustainable support services.

The funding measures of the Foundation for Disabled Persons are aimed at economically disadvantaged individuals with physical, mental, or sensory impairments, as well as their relatives. The target groups include people who require financial support for education, medical treatments, or mobility aids, as well as non-profit organizations and associations that promote inclusion and disability assistance in Speyer and the surrounding area.
