About the funder
The GLAUBEN LEBEN Foundation in the Diocese of Trier was established in January 2008 by the Diocese of Trier as a legally independent ecclesiastical foundation under civil law. It focuses on faith and the concern for the future of the diverse church services. The foundation supports educational work in church-run daycare centers as well as schools, colleges, and universities of applied sciences. Furthermore, it promotes family and adult education, is active in youth work, and supports cultural and pastoral offerings throughout the Diocese of Trier.

Mission & Vision
Our mission is to strengthen and sustainably promote the Christian faith in the Diocese of Trier. We are committed to providing first-class educational and upbringing opportunities in church institutions, supporting initiatives in youth and adult education, and backing cultural as well as pastoral projects. At the same time, as a reliable partner, we ensure that church services remain future-proof and that vibrant spaces of faith are created.
Target groups
The funding programs of the GLAUBEN LEBEN Foundation are aimed at Catholic institutions and committed individuals within the Diocese of Trier: parishes, deaneries, pastoral areas, associations, religious communities, as well as church-run daycare centers, schools, youth associations, and initiatives in family and adult education. They are intended to enable the development and implementation of innovative and sustainable projects in the fields of education, upbringing, and pastoral care.
