Stiftung Hamburger Spendenparlament
About the funder
The Hamburger Donation Parliament e.V. is a purely volunteer-run association that has been supporting socially disadvantaged people in Hamburg since 1996. Over 2,500 members democratically and transparently decide three times a year in public parliamentary sessions on the allocation of donations to charitable projects combating poverty, homelessness, and social isolation. 100% of the donations go directly into seed and bridging financing for social initiatives, thereby immediately contributing to the improvement of the living conditions of those affected.

Mission & Vision
We take responsibility together: Citizens democratically and transparently decide where membership fees and donations in Hamburg meet the greatest needs and have the strongest impact. Together, we commit ourselves to combating poverty, homelessness, and social isolation, and to promoting social participation and integration.
Target groups
Non-profit and charitable organizations conducting projects in Hamburg aimed at combating poverty, homelessness, or social isolation are eligible for funding and may receive start-up or bridging financing. Individuals are not eligible for funding. The programs target associations, sponsors, and social initiatives lacking sufficient own funds and whose projects meet the funding criteria.
