About the funder
The Stiftung Hilfreich is a non-independent trust foundation under the umbrella of the Bürgerstiftung Braunschweig (since 2015 certified with a quality seal for trust foundations). Founded in 2011, it exclusively funds projects in the areas of education and upbringing, child and youth support, senior citizen work, health, and international understanding from the proceeds of its endowment capital as well as additional donations. The principal capital remains untouchable to ensure the permanent and sustainable support of social initiatives.

Mission & Vision
The Hilfreich Foundation is committed sustainably and selflessly to enhancing the well-being of people by promoting education, upbringing, intergenerational cooperation, health, and international understanding. We believe in the long-term value of a growing endowment, the proceeds of which effect positive social change.
Target groups
Eligible to apply are non-profit organizations, associations, and initiatives in the Braunschweig area and surroundings that implement innovative projects in the funding areas of education, child and youth support, senior citizen work, health, or international understanding. Both established organizations and local initiatives are supported, which aim to enable new services or expand existing offerings through the proceeds of the Stiftung Hilfreich.
