About the funder
The Stiftung Jugendarbeit Schleswig-Holstein is a legally recognized foundation under civil law based in Kiel. It was established in 1998 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Landesjugendring Schleswig-Holstein by the savings banks of Schleswig-Holstein and the Landesjugendring. Its purpose is to raise funds and to support projects of independent youth work, youth associations, youth councils, and youth initiatives in Schleswig-Holstein both ideologically and materially. Annually, the foundation funds projects with a total of up to €10,000 and also manages the non-independent Baltic Sea Youth Foundation for activities in the Baltic Sea region. Among its regular focal points is the "No Child Without Vacation" project of the Landesjugendring.

Target groups
Funding is provided to independent youth work organizations in Schleswig-Holstein, particularly youth groups, youth associations, youth councils, and youth initiatives. Eligible to apply are non-profit corporations that meet the professional requirements for the planned measures, ensure appropriate and economical use of funds, and independently contribute to the project. Public bodies, ongoing operating costs, and purely scientific projects are excluded.
