About the funder

The Crime Prevention Foundation Rhineland-Palatinate is a public foundation within the portfolio of the Ministry of the Interior and Sports of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate. It consolidates the activities of the Crime Prevention Coordination Office and the State Prevention Council to initiate and finance prevention programs, training and further education offerings, as well as information campaigns. Projects include, for example, the civil courage campaign "Who does nothing, participates," the awarding of the Civil Courage Prize, scholarships for the Master's program "Criminology & Crime Prevention," as well as programs such as simulation games, cinema seminars, and theater projects. The foundation works closely with the police, municipalities, civil society actors, and state authorities.
