About the funder

The Nature Conservation Fund Foundation Brandenburg is a state foundation established by the State of Brandenburg in 1995 with the aim of promoting and implementing practical nature conservation in the State of Brandenburg. It supports and carries out projects across the state for the protection, maintenance, and development of nature and landscape, as well as for securing areas for habitat and species conservation. As an operational nature conservation foundation, it works closely with partners such as municipalities, associations, and the Nature Watch Brandenburg, and sustainably mediates between the interests of people and nature.
