Mission & Vision

The Stiftung Pfadfinden pursues three central guiding principles: Giving: Encouraging and promoting innovative, exemplary projects at all levels of the BdP as well as providing financial and moral support for their implementation. Receiving: Enabling friends of the Scouts, alumni, and interested supporters to effectively, sustainably, and future-orientedly support scouting activities. Sharing: A platform for intergenerational exchange of experiences, knowledge transfer, and recognition of the commitment of active Scouts.

Target groups

The Stiftung Pfadfinden primarily directs its funding offers to scout groups and troops within the Bund der Pfadfinderinnen und Pfadfinder (BdP) throughout Germany, as well as to development groups and state associations of the BdP. Additionally, it supports former scouts and citizens who wish to promote projects both ideationally and financially. Funding is provided especially for initiatives with innovative, sustainable, or inclusive approaches, such as environmental protection, integration, media education, or the founding of new scout groups.
