About the funder
The Stiftung Rheinische Kulturlandschaft is the nature conservation foundation of Rhineland agriculture, headquartered in Bonn with several regional offices. It promotes and implements projects for the preservation and development of biological diversity in the characteristic cultural landscapes of the Rhineland. As a practice-oriented foundation, it works in partnership with farmers, municipalities, nature conservation organizations, and educational institutions to plan, implement, and sustainably manage conservation measures.

Mission & Vision
The Stiftung Rheinische Kulturlandschaft is committed to the preservation and sustainable development of the Rhineland cultural landscapes. Our motto, "Nature conservation through utilization," represents the close integration of agriculture and nature conservation. We support agricultural enterprises, municipalities, and other partners in promoting ecological diversity, securing ecological services, and preserving the cultural landscape as a habitat for animal and plant species.
Target groups
The foundation's funding programs and services are aimed at farmers, landowners, and municipalities in the Rhineland who wish to implement nature conservation measures in agricultural landscapes. Furthermore, the foundation supports nature conservation organizations, educational institutions (schools, environmental education centers), as well as public and private entities that promote environmental education and research in the field of biodiversity.
