Stiftung SkF Marburg
About the funder
The SkF Marburg Foundation was established in 2009 as part of the Social Service of Catholic Women e.V. Marburg to provide uncomplicated and sustainable support to families in special hardship situations. It complements the regular aid funds of the SkF and is specifically aimed at children from the age of three as well as those families who can no longer be reached through existing services. Furthermore, the foundation enables the development of tailored projects and offerings where additional needs exist.

Mission & Vision
"Being there – helping to live" is the guiding principle of the Stiftung SkF Marburg. Our mission is to be a reliable support for families in financial and social distress and to open up future prospects for them. Through endowments and interest income, we secure aid funds in the long term and create space for innovative, needs-based support services.
Target groups
The funding measures of the Stiftung SkF Marburg are aimed at families in the Marburg area who can no longer be adequately supported by existing funds due to special financial or social hardships. The focus is particularly on children from the age of three, but also on parents and single parents who require assistance with care, development, and coping with everyday life.
