The Stiftung Standortsicherung Kreis Lippe was established in 2001 to permanently retain the proceeds from the privatization of Elektrizitätswerke Wesertal within the Lippe district and to specifically allocate them for structural and regional development. As a non-profit foundation, it consolidates financial commitment and activates collective development potentials. Since its inception, it has supported over 237 projects in the fields of education, science, culture, and volunteer work to create forward-looking perspectives for the region in the long term.
