About the funder
The Tri-Ergon Filmwerk Foundation is a non-profit asset foundation based in Bielefeld, dedicated to collecting, maintaining, and preserving equipment related to cinema, film, and sound technology. With an extensive media-technical archive and historically significant regional film documents, it preserves contemporary history and makes it publicly accessible. Since its founding in 2015, it has realized exhibitions, restoration projects, documentaries, and seminars, and in 2022 opened the MuMa Forum as a vibrant venue for film culture.

Mission & Vision
Our mission is to preserve film history and technology in all its facets and to make it accessible for future generations. Through exhibitions, restorations, archiving, and knowledge transfer, we promote understanding of the cultural and technological development of the moving image.
