Stiftung trias Gemeinnützige Stiftung für Boden, Ökologie und Wohnen

Founded in 2002, the non-profit Stiftung trias is supported by over 250 donors and is dedicated to the themes of land, ecology, and communal living. It acquires land and secures it permanently for social, ecological, and common good-oriented use through hereditary building rights. In addition, the foundation supports innovative housing projects, nature conservation and monument protection measures, and imparts practical knowledge through brochures, training courses, events, and personal consultation. As an active player, trias is also involved in political alliances to promote fair and sustainable land and housing policy frameworks.

Land and soil are common goods and must be accessible to all people. The trias Foundation is committed to sustainable and common good-oriented land use, promotes community housing projects with a socio-ecological focus, and advocates for the protection of ecology and heritage conservation. It sees itself as a catalyst for knowledge transfer and political dialogue, aiming to establish long-term common good-oriented frameworks in land and housing matters.

The funding programs of the trias Foundation are exclusively aimed at non-profit recipients from the fields of education, elderly and youth welfare, nature conservation, monument protection, and international understanding. Support is provided particularly for communal housing projects with social and ecological content, environmental and climate protection measures in the context of housing projects, monument protection initiatives, as well as educational and event formats that promote knowledge and networking in the foundation’s thematic areas.
