Stiftung Weisbachhaus Freiberg

The Weisbachhaus Freiberg Foundation is a legally recognized foundation under civil law, based in Freiberg (Saxony). It pursues the foundation’s objectives of education and monument preservation. Its central tasks include the preservation and maintenance of the Weisbachhaus, which is a listed historic building, as well as the support of outstanding students and scientific projects at universities in the German-speaking region, particularly at the TU Bergakademie Freiberg. The foundation provides both ideological and financial support to students through scholarships, promotes research projects, pilot initiatives, cultural education, student traditions, and sporting activities. Additionally, it organizes educational, seminar, and cultural activities within the historic building.
