Stiftung Weltkulturerbe Gartenstadt Falkenberg und Schillerpark-Siedlung der Berliner Moderne

The non-profit Stiftung Weltkulturerbe Gartenstadt Falkenberg und Schillerpark-Siedlung der Berliner Moderne was established as a legal foundation under civil law in Berlin. Its purpose is the promotion of culture, particularly monument preservation, through the conservation and dynamic development of the UNESCO World Heritage sites of the two outstanding settlements Gartenstadt Falkenberg and Schillerpark-Siedlung. The foundation specifically supports monument preservation and substance-maintaining measures on buildings and green spaces, promotes public relations, networks with national and international partners, and publishes works with cultural and scientific backgrounds.

The World Heritage Foundation is committed to permanently preserving and further developing the architectural and social heritage of the residential estates Gartenstadt Falkenberg and Schillerpark-Siedlung as part of Berlin Modernism. Through targeted support of conservation measures, networking with World Heritage partners, and the publication of professional literature, it aims to strengthen monument preservation, raise public awareness, and convey the value of these estates as cultural heritage.

The funding programs of the foundation are aimed at professional planners, monument conservators, public and private owners, as well as communities and institutions involved in the maintenance, restoration, and proper development of the World Heritage settlements Gartenstadt Falkenberg and Schillerpark-Siedlung. This includes architectural firms, builders, research and educational institutions engaged in architectural history and monument preservation, as well as the interested public.
