Stiftung zur Förderung der Tafel Bergedorf

The Foundation for the Promotion of the Tafel Bergedorf was established in 2024 to secure the work of Tafel Bergedorf e.V. in the long term. By building up a capital fund, the Tafel aims to become less dependent on short-term grants or fluctuating donations. The interest income from the foundation's assets is used exclusively to provide both moral and material support to people in need in Hamburg and the surrounding area. Once the needs of Tafel Bergedorf e.V. are met, the foundation may also support other charitable organizations dedicated to assisting those in need.

Our goal is to equip Tafel Bergedorf e.V. with a permanently maintained capital fund so that it can respond to financial challenges in the long term and with flexibility. We believe in the sustainable impact of a foundation: the capital remains untouched, while the proceeds are continuously used to support people in need.

The foundation's funding is primarily directed to the association Tafel Bergedorf e.V., which provides food and other assistance to people in need in Hamburg. If the association does not demonstrate additional financial requirements, the foundation also supports other non-profit organizations committed to helping people in need in Hamburg.
