About the funder
The Wegrand Foundation is a legally recognized foundation under civil law based in Tübingen. The foundation supports initiatives, projects, and groups that oppose and address discrimination, racism, torture, slavery, and group-related hostility.

Mission & Vision
The Wegrand Foundation aims to improve the social, linguistic, educational, professional, and cultural participation of disadvantaged individuals through financial, organizational, and logistical support. It promotes self-determination, personal responsibility, social cohesion, and works to reduce social exclusion. In doing so, it operates as a non-profit organization in accordance with tax regulations and commemorates the victims of National Socialism.
Target groups
The funding programs of the Wegrand Foundation are aimed at disadvantaged individuals in their social, linguistic, educational, professional, and cultural participation; politically persecuted persons, civilians with war experience, as well as people with refugee or torture experiences; victims of group-related hostility, racism, and violence; people of all genders, especially women and individuals whose gender identity is violated in their rights; as well as initiatives and projects that provide education, prevention, and remediation of racism and violence, including documentation and publications in accordance with the foundation's purpose.
