About the funder
The Werte-Stiftung advocates for equal opportunities and social cohesion in Germany. As a non-profit foundation under civil law based in Frankfurt am Main, it supports and initiates nationwide projects in the fields of sports and education that convey and make values (performance, respect, trust, responsibility, integrity) tangible. Utilizing its network and financial resources from the business sector, it promotes public discourse around values and accompanies value education processes – from mentoring programs for young athletes to school projects and initiatives for value-oriented innovations.

Mission & Vision
The Werte-Stiftung aims for a conscious engagement with values to become an integral part of individual actions and social coexistence. It initiates and implements projects in sports and education to raise awareness of the importance of values, promote participatory collaboration, and support value-oriented ideas.
Target groups
The programs of the Werte-Stiftung are aimed at young people, particularly students from grade 7 onwards, as well as junior athletes. They address coaches and teachers who wish to embed value education within their teams and classes. Furthermore, the mentoring and scholarship offerings are directed at athletes who, alongside their sporting achievements, seek a value-oriented personal development.
