Roll-off Container Meeting for the Local Incident Command Support Group

The Free State of Bavaria supports procurement-related equipment in disaster control by assisting municipalities and non-profit organizations in acquiring roll-off containers for the Local Incident Command Support Group with a flat-rate grant of €28,000. The aim of this measure is to optimize coordination and operational command on site in order to enable quick and effective decision-making in emergency situations. The funding is granted as a fixed amount and covers 100% of the eligible procurement costs. Applications can be submitted at any time to the responsible government districts, ensuring continuous integration into existing hazard prevention concepts.

Eligible for funding are Bavarian municipalities as well as voluntary aid organizations that operate a Local Incident Command Support Group and have at least two suitable swap-body vehicles. The technical requirements are based on the disaster control funding guidelines of the Free State of Bavaria. A professional statement from the district or city fire inspection is required for the application. This verifies the professional suitability and operational relevance of the requested equipment. Through this funding, the local incident command receives a reliable infrastructure to efficiently manage communication and meeting processes during major damage incidents and to sustainably strengthen disaster control.
