Roll-off container according to DIN SPEC 14 507-3 for the Local Incident Command Support Group

The Free State of Bavaria offers counties and independent cities a continuously accessible grant funding for the acquisition of roll-off containers according to DIN SPEC 14 507-3 for the Local Incident Command Support Group (UG-ÖEL). The goal is to strengthen municipal capacities for disaster response by providing modern emergency vehicles that enable effective on-site command and coordination. Eligible for funding are all public institutions of the Bavarian local authorities. A prerequisite for the grant is a professional statement from the district or city fire inspection as well as compliance with the technical specifications according to DIN SPEC 14 507-3. In exceptional cases, a specially justified acquisition of roll-off containers based on transporters may be funded.

Eligible costs include the acquisition expenses for the roll-off container itself as well as optional satellite systems for communication security. The maximum fixed funding amount is €160,000 or €161,000 when a satellite system is installed. If the actual financing requirement is lower, the grant will be reduced accordingly. Applications can be submitted continuously to the responsible Bavarian administrative districts, which decide on the approval. The funding is provided within the framework of the guidelines for grants from the Free State of Bavaria for disaster preparedness and is managed by the State Ministry of the Interior, for Sport and Integration. Through this initiative, municipalities are supported in optimally equipping their on-site incident command, thereby significantly enhancing safety and effectiveness in disaster protection.
