The General Project Funding for Charitable, Benevolent, and Scientific Purposes of the Axel Springer Foundation supports initiatives across Germany with charitable, benevolent, or research-oriented objectives. Projects from the fields of science, culture, education, social affairs, as well as research & innovation are funded, including memorial site and Israel excursions, publication subsidies for dissertations, and cultural and educational undertakings. Applicants may be non-profit organizations, educational institutions, or private individuals—such as schools, vocational schools, universities, student groups, trainees, researchers, associations, and church communities implementing projects domestically and abroad.
