Description
Allianz Children's Aid Fund Berlin/Leipzig e. V. has been supporting children and adolescents for many years who live separated from their familiar environment due to health or family circumstances or who face significant challenges. The initiative is dedicated to enabling disadvantaged young people to experience a carefree childhood by financing specific tangible assets. A variety of items are used in this context, such as furnishings, therapeutic equipment, or sports gear, which help enrich everyday life in charitable institutions and open up new perspectives for those affected. Funding is provided in the form of a grant, ensuring sustainable and targeted support.
Eligible for funding are organizations recognized as non-profit and operating within the BG NO Berlin/Leipzig area. The supported target groups include children and adolescents with physical, mental, and/or psychological impairments, orphans, seriously ill children, as well as individuals living without parental care. Noteworthy is the clear focus on financing material costs, while intangible measures such as excursions or training sessions are excluded from the funding framework. Furthermore, support is granted exclusively for projects or subprojects for which a concrete cost estimate and proof of services rendered are submitted. These criteria ensure that financial aid reaches exactly where it makes the greatest difference.
Ongoing funding is directed at institutions in the regions of Berlin, Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, and Thuringia. This initiative aims to sustainably improve the living conditions of children and adolescents and to provide them with equal opportunities for the future through targeted financing of tangible assets. Through uniform funding practices and a clear structure for grant allocation, which also includes honoraria, the transparent and effective use of funds is guaranteed. The funding conditions apply exclusively to non-profit organizations that can provide appropriate documentation, such as the tax exemption certificate. In this way, the fund makes an important contribution to strengthening children and adolescents in their personal and social development and enabling a livable future.
