Description
The acquisition funding from the Stiftung Jetzt! für morgen supports non-profit groups involved in Catholic children and youth work in the Diocese of Aachen in financing the procurement of material resources for activities with children and young people. Eligible for funding are registered interest groups or associations whose members are between 0 and 27 years old and are based in the Diocese of Aachen. Applications can be submitted twice per funding period with a maximum funding amount of €450. The application periods are from October 1 to March 31 and from April 1 to September 30. Funding is provided for acquisitions that are directly used in activities and measures in the social and youth-pedagogical sector to strengthen voluntary engagement on site.
Approval requires an existing legal entity, the voluntary orientation of the group, and a personal contribution of at least 30%. Upon plausible justification, the foundation may reduce the personal contribution to 10%. The standard funding rate is 70%; upon request and with a comprehensible demonstration of need, it can be increased up to 90%. Evaluation criteria include the planned use of the acquisition, the voluntary commitment of those involved, and transparent financial planning. Each group may only have one application approved per funding period. Overfunding is excluded to ensure sustainable use of funds.
