Description
Employment assistance in Vienna represents a long-term, individually tailored advisory service that enables people with disabilities to access the general labor market and secures vulnerable jobs. Operators from non-profit organizations, companies, interest groups, or associations carry out all necessary steps on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection – from needs assessment through direct counseling to intensive workplace support. The measure equally considers the interests of employees and employers, promotes sustainable integration, and creates win-win situations for both parties. As a continuously available funding instrument, applications can be submitted at any time.
Eligible applicants are providers with proven expertise in advising and supporting people with disabilities. Funding covers expenses for professional counseling, personnel costs, and material expenses; investments in real estate and retroactive costs are excluded. Project selection is based on proof of competence, sustainability, and target group relevance. To apply, a comprehensive project description, a financing plan, proof of successful activity in the field of employment assistance, and the project sponsor’s CV must be submitted. Through funding via a one-time grant, barrier-free workplaces are specifically created and secured to sustainably strengthen social participation.
