Funding objective
Provision of services within the framework of the funding guidelines for projects in primary care (ARF measure 4.A.2) by the AWS implementing agency. The objective is to promote the establishment of new primary care units as well as projects in the areas of climate, social inclusion, digitalization, infrastructure, and further education and training, in order to ensure quality-assured, comprehensive, and easily accessible healthcare.

Description
Under the title ARF – Primary Care Funding – Processing Costs, the establishment of new primary care units and accompanying projects in Vienna is specifically supported. The ARF measure 4.A.2, financed by the European Union – NextGeneration EU, promotes forward-looking initiatives in the areas of climate, social inclusion, digitalization, infrastructure, as well as education and training. The goal is comprehensive, quality-assured, and barrier-free healthcare that is financed in a spirit of solidarity and designed to be inclusive. Eligible to apply are companies, non-profit organizations, and public institutions that wish to develop and operate innovative structures in the field of primary care.
Support is provided as a grant for processing costs, provided that a processing agreement exists between the Federal Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection and the processing agency AWS, and the projects comply with the requirements of ARF measure 4.A.2. Applications can be submitted continuously from 01.06.2021 until the funding volume is exhausted. In particular, operators and new founders of primary care units as well as project sponsors from the aforementioned thematic areas benefit from this funding. By covering organizational costs, the implementation of innovative care models in Vienna is efficiently advanced. Information is provided by the processing agency AWS in coordination with Section VII of the Federal Ministry.
