Description

Within the framework of the Women’s Call of the Austrian Integration Fund (ÖIF), non-profit organizations and educational institutions nationwide are supported with financial grants that are dedicated to the integration and promotion of girls and women with a migration background. The funding program focuses on the thematic areas of work & social affairs, migration, and the promotion of women, aiming to sustainably strengthen the self-determination and equal opportunities of female refugees and immigrants. Supported measures include awareness-raising for women’s rights, the development of a confident understanding of roles, as well as educational and prevention services on the topic of violence against women. Through the support of diverse project approaches, an inclusive network is created that anchors equal participation in social life in Austria in the long term.

Funding prerequisites include fully and carefully completed application documents as well as proof of professional, financial, and organizational capacities for proper implementation. Individuals and public authorities are excluded. Project applications are accepted exclusively during the announced call phases; eligible costs must have been incurred within the approved project duration. The application submission must include a completed application form with a signed cover sheet, a detailed project description including a timeline, a financial plan, evidence of additional funding commitments, and a current association register or company register excerpt. An independent expert commission selects the submitted concepts based on the quality of the proposals and budgetary possibilities. The application deadline began on March 4, 2020, and is open-ended; interested parties are invited to review the current funding guidelines and submit their project ideas in a timely manner.
