Description
The contribution from the State of Tyrol reimburses 40% of the expenses incurred by statutory school authorities at compulsory schools through the provision of school physicians. Public institutions in Tyrol can thus partially recover the costs for medical screening examinations of students. The aim of the funding is to ensure comprehensive school medical care and to strengthen preventive health measures in the compulsory school sector. The flat-rate financing ensures predictable budgets and supports the quality of school health care in the long term. The funding is granted continuously and has been available indefinitely since July 22, 2013.
Applications can be submitted to the state government no earlier than after the end of the school year and no later than December 31 of the same calendar year. Eligible costs are exclusively those for the provision of school physicians, provided that no overtime payments above service grade VIII, salary level 7, nor mileage allowances for private vehicles exceeding official rates are claimed. A prerequisite is the conduct of medical screening examinations in compulsory schools by medical professionals and the status as a statutory school authority. The application must include the official form with confirmation from the school of services rendered, the invoice, and the corresponding proof of payment. The funding is provided as a direct grant and enables transparent and efficient processing of reimbursable expenses.
