Description
The consulting cost subsidy in Styria supports small and medium-sized gastronomy and hotel businesses in tourism municipalities with up to 50% funding of external consulting costs (maximum €7,000). Intangible services related to comprehensive business consulting and innovation projects are funded, such as market analyses, restructuring, or business management reviews. The goal is to sustainably increase the performance and competitiveness of the Styrian tourism industry and strengthen regional offerings. Applications can be submitted continuously at any time before commissioning the consulting service to Department 12 Economy, Tourism, Science and Research, have been valid indefinitely since April 26, 2013, and are aimed at businesses with an unlimited trade license that are members of the Styrian Chamber of Commerce.
Prerequisites for a positive funding decision include, among others, a business location in a Styrian tourism municipality, at least 30% own funds, and submission of all mandatory documents (application, project description, trade license, cost estimate, invoices and payment receipts, as well as annual financial statements of the last two fiscal years). The decision takes into account thriftiness, economic efficiency, scope and quality of the consulting project, as well as regional positioning and use of domestic products. Payment is made upon project completion upon request and submission of documented expenses. Interested companies can obtain all forms and detailed information via the service portal of the State of Styria, with the condition that no services may be commissioned or paid before the application is submitted.
