Consulting Guideline – Funding for Business Management and Technical Consultations

The advisory guideline for the promotion of business management and technical consulting supports small and medium-sized enterprises as well as start-ups with headquarters or operations in Thuringia. The goal is to enhance the competitiveness and innovative strength of the regional economy through qualified external consulting services in business management and technical areas. Consulting-related expenses are funded as grants, with applications able to be submitted at any time. Accompanying digitization projects, research & innovation, and business financing, the funding visibly contributes to process optimization and the sustainable strengthening of the company.

Conditions for approval include proof of specific consulting needs based on an offer or service description and the engagement of a qualified external consultant. Only costs for external consulting are eligible; selection is based on the criteria of “proven consulting need” and “qualification of the consultant.” For application submission, the fully completed application form, a consultant’s offer or detailed service description, invoice receipts, and the final proof of use must be provided. The public development bank of the Free State of Thuringia supports applicants with all questions regarding application preparation and processing to ensure smooth procedures and transparent funding allocation. This provides companies in Thuringia with straightforward access to tailored consulting and enables them to sustainably expand their future viability.
