Description

The Berlin Program for Sustainable Development (BENE 2) – Funding Priority 4 continuously supports projects in the Berlin region that are dedicated to climate change adaptation and strengthening urban resilience. Public-law institutions, municipal administrations, companies, as well as non-profit organizations can apply for grants for measures in the areas of climate protection, environmental and nature conservation, energy efficiency & renewable energies, smart cities & regions, urban development & urban renewal, infrastructure, and digitalization. A prerequisite is the location of the project in Berlin and a clear focus on climate adaptation. The regularly available funding guidelines provide information on the requirements and necessary documents, including the Funding Guideline for Priority 4 and the proof of use form.

The grant purposefully supports innovative concepts and practice-oriented approaches to reduce climate-related risks in urban areas and to advance sustainable urban and regional development.
