Description

The funding offer from the Kinderstiftung Ravensburg is aimed at children and adolescents from the Schussental region (Ravensburg district and surroundings) and supports individual, non-material, and extracurricular activities in the areas of sports, music, and culture. As a grant, it subsidizes membership fees, participation fees, and lessons to strengthen the social inclusion and personal development of young people from financially disadvantaged families. Continuous applications are possible; however, retroactive costs are not covered. Assistance is provided in an uncomplicated manner and is directed at private individuals residing in the Schussental whose legal guardians receive social benefits or fall within the threshold income.

Eligible to apply are legal guardians as well as multipliers (e.g., teachers, social workers, educators) who submit a corresponding application. For group activities, a separate group application can be submitted. Approval is based on the financial need of the family, the individual life situation, and timely submission of the application. Required documents include, in addition to the completed application form, current notices of social benefit receipt or income, as well as a copy of the rental agreement with utility cost statements. Since this is a voluntary service, there is no legal entitlement; however, this grant enables disadvantaged families to access important educational and recreational opportunities in Baden-Württemberg.
